Itinerary

  • Your friendly, qualified tour guide will pick you up from your hotel/accommodation in a luxury vehicle at 08h30. Drive along the Atlantic Seaboard and see the spectacular homes and beaches of Clifton, Camps Bay & Llandudno.
     

  • Continue along the coastal road past Llandudno beach to Hout Bay harbour (the oldest commercial fishing harbour in South Africa). Explore the quaint curio stalls and see the seals frolicking in the harbour.
     

  • Stop at the beautiful white sandy Camps Bay beach to admire the towering spine of Table Mountain and the Twelve Apostles mountain range

  • Continue along Chapmans Peak Drive and stop at a spectacular view site along this masterpiece of road building construction.

  • Drive through Simons Town - a naval seaside town with many historical buildings and quaint harbour.

  • Visit the penguin colony at Boulders Beach and see these endearing flightless birds in the habitat they chose after migrating from Ecuador in 1983. Entrance fee = R176pp

  • Arrive at Cape Point Nature Reserve. Walk up to the lighthouse with 360 degree views or take the funicular. Explore the reserve with its abundant fauna and flora and fascinating shipwreck history. Entrance fee - R395pp

  • Stop for a scrumptious lunch at Camel Rock restaurant in Scarborough. After lunch take the unspoilt seaside route through Misty Cliffs.

  • Head back to Cape Town along Ou Kaapse Weg - another stunning scenic route.

  • Take a walk through this botanical garden renowned for the beauty and diversity of the Cape flora it displays and for the magnificence of its setting against the eastern slopes of Table Mountain. The International Garden Tourism Awards Body declared Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens the International Garden of the Year in 2015. Entrance fee = R220pp
